ADX goes live on SWIFT with BIC ADSEAEADXXX

Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange activates global SWIFT messaging for custodians, CSDs and ICSDs as part of its post-trade upgrade.

Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange has gone live on the global SWIFT network after setting up Business Identifier Code ADSEAEADXXX, according to an exchange announcement carried by Emirates News Agency (WAM) and industry wires on 25 September 2026.

ADX said the activation strengthens its post-trade infrastructure by enabling secure, standardised financial messaging with custodians, central securities depositories, international CSDs and other market participants worldwide.

The exchange framed the move as support for more efficient cross-border interactions and for international investors seeking access to UAE capital markets, while aligning with Abu Dhabi’s broader push as an international financial centre.

ADX, ticker ADX on its own venue, presented the SWIFT link as a foundation for future market-infrastructure initiatives rather than a change to listed-issuer trading rules.
