DIB chairman Mohammad Alshaibani resigns effective 20 September
Dubai Islamic Bank told DFM that H.E. Mohammad Alshaibani resigned as chairman and board member effective 20 September 2026 for personal reasons; further announcements are expected.

Dubai Islamic Bank PJSC told Dubai Financial Market that H.E. Mohammad Alshaibani, the bank's chairman and a board member, submitted his resignation effective 20 September 2026 for personal reasons.
In a letter dated 23 September 2026 and signed by board secretary Zeina Sammakieh, the board extended its gratitude for his leadership and contribution to the bank's success and wished him continued success.
The board said it will take the necessary actions under applicable regulatory requirements and will make further announcements as appropriate. The disclosure was also copied to the Capital Market Authority.
