About Capital Wire

Last updated

Capital Wire is a newsroom. Editors and reporters cover the companies, exchanges and policy decisions that move capital in the United Arab Emirates. We publish in Arabic and English; neither language is a translation skin on the other. Each article is written and reviewed for the reader who will read it.

What we cover

We focus on listed companies on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange, the Dubai Financial Market and Nasdaq Dubai; regulatory and monetary decisions that affect them; IPOs and listings; and the sectors that dominate regional indices — energy, banking, real estate and utilities. We also cover Gulf and international developments when they clearly matter to UAE investors and companies.

How the newsroom works

Stories are selected, written and checked by people. Editors decide what runs, what waits and what is killed. Tools in the newsroom — including software that helps monitor filings or draft routine copy — support that work. They do not replace editorial judgement. The standard for every published piece is the same: a named desk or editor stands behind it.

What we are not

We are not a broker, a bank, an exchange or an investment adviser. We do not issue price targets, buy or sell recommendations, or portfolio guidance. Nothing we publish is investment advice, and no article should be read as a reason to trade.

How we are funded

Capital Wire is independently funded. Commercial relationships do not decide coverage. If sponsored or partner material is published, it is labelled and kept out of editorial feeds.

Languages

Arabic and English are one product. An Arabic article is edited for Arabic readers; an English article is edited for English readers. Where both exist for the same story, each stands on its own sourcing and wording.
