DEWA sets October dates for AED 3.1bn H1 cash dividend

A circular resolution on 6 October will approve distribution of the half-year cash dividend, with last entitlement on 14 October and ex-dividend on 15 October.

Dubai Electricity and Water Authority PJSC notified Dubai Financial Market that its board will be asked, by circular resolution on Tuesday 6 October 2026 at 9:00am, to approve distribution of an AED 3.1 billion cash dividend for the first half of 2026. The filing sets last entitlement on 14 October 2026, the ex-dividend date on 15 October, and the record date on 16 October. The circular locks the October timetable and does not change the cash amount already flagged to the market.

Dubai Electricity and Water Authority PJSC (DEWA) notified the Dubai Financial Market that its board will be asked, by circular resolution on Tuesday, 6 October 2026 at 9:00am, to approve the distribution of an AED 3.1 billion cash dividend for the first half of 2026.

The filing, dated 25 September and published on DFM’s disclosure feed on Monday morning, sets the investor calendar for the payout in October: last entitlement date 14 October 2026, ex-dividend date 15 October 2026, and record date 16 October 2026.

The amount matches the interim dividend DEWA’s board endorsed with the first-half 2026 results in August, when the utility reported record half-year net profit of AED 3.33 billion. Under its IPO-era dividend framework, DEWA has targeted a minimum annual dividend of AED 6.2 billion for the first five years from October 2022, paid in April and October instalments of AED 3.1 billion.

The circular does not change the cash quantum already flagged to the market; it locks the October distribution timetable ahead of the entitlement window. DEWA is Dubai’s vertically integrated electricity and water utility and is listed on DFM under the ticker DEWA.
