Empower named strategic sponsor of WETEX 2026
District cooling operator backs DEWA’s flagship energy and water exhibition at Dubai World Trade Centre, 20–22 October.

Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation PJSC (Empower) said in a Dubai Financial Market disclosure dated 28 September 2026 that it is a strategic sponsor of WETEX 2026, organised by Dubai Electricity and Water Authority. The exhibition runs from 20 to 22 October 2026 at Dubai World Trade Centre. Empower said its network comprises 90 district cooling plants and more than 430 kilometres of distribution, and its customer base surpassed 161,000 across 1,796 buildings in the first half of 2026.

Chief Executive Officer Ahmad Bin Shafar said the sponsorship reflects the company’s support for the UAE and Dubai’s green-economy and energy-efficiency agenda, and that WETEX brings together decision-makers, experts, investors and technology providers around sustainability partnerships.
The company said its infrastructure comprises 90 district cooling plants and a distribution network of more than 430 kilometres. Its customer base surpassed 161,000 customers across 1,796 buildings in the first half of 2026. Empower also cited its Command and Control Centre for real-time monitoring, proactive decision-making and service continuity.
