Under the programme, cumulative purchases stand at 143,250,000 shares, or 0.61512% of issued capital, at an average programme price of AED 1.145 a share. Shares remaining for purchase are listed as approximately up to 1,021,162,031.35 shares.
The general assembly approved the buyback on 13 April 2026. The programme, sized up to 5% of treasury shares, runs from 18 May 2026 through 12 April 2028. The disclosure was signed by Abdullah AlGhrawi, head of legal, GRC and board secretary.
