ABU DHABI — Aldar Properties PJSC (ADX: ALDAR) and Arada announced a strategic partnership with a combined value of about AED 15 billion covering major development opportunities on Yas Island and at Seih Sdeirah in Abu Dhabi, according to a company press release filed on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange on 30 September 2026.

The initial agreements comprise a masterplan joint venture to co-develop a large-scale mixed-use community across up to 1.5 million square metres at Seih Sdeirah on the Abu Dhabi–Dubai border, and Arada’s acquisition of three residential development plots from Aldar on Yas Island.

The partnership marks Arada’s first development presence in Abu Dhabi. At Seih Sdeirah, Arada will lead development and construction management while Aldar and Arada jointly brand and sell the community, envisaged as villas and townhouses with retail and amenities. On Yas Island, the three plots — including two canal-facing sites — have a combined plot area of more than 27,500 square metres and total gross floor area of almost 130,000 square metres.

Jonathan Emery, CEO of Aldar Development, and Ahmed Alkhoshaibi, Group CEO of Arada, signed the agreements in the presence of HRH Prince Khaled bin Alwaleed bin Talal Al Saud, Arada’s Executive Vice Chairman, and Talal Al Dhiyebi, Group CEO of Aldar. The parties described Yas Island and Seih Sdeirah as a first phase and said they intend to explore further collaboration across sectors and geographies in the UAE.
